A clinical-stage biotech business is moving its corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility to Frederick, Md.
Cartesian Therapeutics – a pioneer in mRNA CAR-T cell therapy treatment for autoimmune diseases – is working to scale its in-house production of clinical and commercial products. The company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility will utilize approximately 20,000 square-feet at 7495 New Horizon Way, an office building that was recently converted into a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)-compliant incubator .
“Our new headquarters and manufacturing facility will provide us with the infrastructure to support our next phase of growth while allowing us to remain in the vibrant I-270 Biotech Corridor community,” said Cartesian President and CEO Carsten Brunn, Ph.D. “We look forward to relocating to Frederick as we continue to work toward our mission of expanding the reach of cell therapy to patients with autoimmune diseases.”
