The Frederick County Office of Economic Development (OED) has unveiled its new website, www.MadeInFrederickMD.com.

Manufacturing is extremely important to Frederick County and it is vital to our economy. MadeInFrederickMD was developed to strengthen and foster the growth of Frederick County’s manufacturing industry by providing resources, connections and tools to succeed in a global environment.

“We are excited and thrilled to unveil a new website that provides the necessary tools for the manufacturing industry to start, expand and locate to Frederick County,” said Jodie Bollinger, Frederick County OED’s director of business retention and expansion. “I believe this is the first of its kind and stemmed from hearing the needs of the manufacturing industry. This is truly a collaborative project with all the parties involved sharing a common goal.”

The website provides the opportunity for manufacturers to post their job opportunities in one location. The site also provides a wealth of information on manufacturing resources including workforce and training programs, funding, and global expansion services.
