UMBC’s bwtech Research & Technology Park , a leading supporter of the technology and life science sectors in Maryland, recently announced a new partnership with Startup Grind Maryland  focused on bolstering innovation and entrepreneurship throughout the state. Through the new partnership, the entities will work together to spur local and state economic growth by offering a series of new entrepreneurial tools to startup founders and CEOs.

As part of the largest independent global startup community, Startup Grind Maryland will work alongside bwtech to attract Maryland entrepreneurs and expand the partnership’s reach and services across the region. From providing work and gathering spaces, as well as expert guidance and resources, these innovative entrepreneurs will be able to transform their ideas into successful businesses.

The first project of the partnership will be the launch of the Maryland StartUp Accelerator . The intensive, virtual 12-week program is designed to provide startup founders and CEOs with the best possible positioning in order to grow a successful business and raise outside funding.
