Celebrating our customers in Maryland

10/04/2018 | Mike Gill

Here at Maryland Commerce, we value and appreciate our customers every day. But this week is particularly special and gives us an opportunity to say thank you for helping us make Maryland “Open for Business.”

CX Day – also known as Customer Experience Day – was October 2, aligning with this year’s National Customer Service Week.

Whether we’re discussing the state’s Customer Service Promise, or reviewing the Maryland Department of Commerce’s outreach and response times to local businesses, economic development partners, or educational institutions, our goal remains the same. We are here to provide the best possible service to you—our customers.

The release of our Customer Service Annual Report for 2018 shows that over the past few years, we’ve taken our promise and acted on it. According to a statewide customer survey, Maryland Commerce received a 92 percent satisfaction rating and more than 75 percent of customers believe the state’s business culture has improved in recent years. By streamlining processes, recognizing our internal team members’ efforts, and working towards better interagency communication, we’re working to improve service for our customers all throughout Maryland.

Thank you again to all of our customers who have provided feedback and continue to let us know how we are doing. We’re working hard to grow Maryland’s business community and we couldn’t do it without you.

-Mike
