Last month, Choptank Transport announced its expansion to Baltimore City's Federal Hill neighborhood where it will establish its latest sales office.

For more than 20 years, Choptank Transport has specialized in shipping a variety of freight via road, rail, air, and sea. The company's president and CEO, Geoff Turner, said the move is a direct response to Choptank's growing business.

The expansion is expected to be completed in June and will include a new, 4,000-square-foot office space. Choptank also has locations in Tampa, Dallas, Denver, and Atlanta. This third-party logistics company is part of a $166 billion dollar U.S. industry that is seeing rapid growth as demand increases.
