Whether your organization is just getting started in greening its operations or you're ready to take your sustainability efforts to the next level, this free program offered by the Maryland Department of the Environment and Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership will help you meet your goals.

The purpose of the program is to help organizations identify opportunities that reduce environmental impacts and save money, boost the impact of their green team, increase employee engagement, and raise public awareness of their environmental stewardship through the Maryland Green Registry.

The program is open to all types of businesses and organizations. Last year's participants included a tech company, hotel, electric cooperative, and tourist attraction. The program consists of two half-day workshops as well as on-site assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities specific to your facility. The first event will be held on April 5 in Baltimore.
