The state of Maryland has officially been selected as the location for Greenland Technologies Holding Corporation’s  manufacturing expansion in the U.S.

To help grow its line of electric industrial vehicles, Greenland will open a 50,000 square-foot facility at 5301 Nottingham Drive in White Marsh in Baltimore County, which is expected to open in July.

“We selected Maryland for the next phase of our planned major U.S. expansion due to its centralized location, strong logistics infrastructure and shared commitment to sustainability,” said Raymond Wang, CEO of Greenland, in an earlier announcement . “We are excited to be moving forward in Maryland and are fully committed to investing in the local economy and immediately creating meaningful new jobs.”

With Maryland’s innovative reputation and strong manufacturing sector, as well as its educated workforce, the company won’t have trouble finding talented workers to assemble its modern products and manage its technical systems.
