Havoc Brew Supply supports Maryland’s booming brewing industry

It’s officially FeBREWary  and Maryland Commerce is highlighting one of the state’s favorite industries: beer!

Havoc Brew Supply , located in Washington County, envisions beer as a global industry. The company has become a key part of Maryland’s ever growing craft beverage industry, expanding the state’s reach across the United States and beyond.

Since opening in 2016, Havoc has become known as a one-stop-shop for all things beer. The company carries everything – from brewing ingredients such as hops, purees, and extracts, to cleaning supplies for home and professional brewers – and has partnered with local breweries such as Cushwa Brewing Company, Full Tilt, DuClaw, and Oliver Brewing, and popular brands including Trougs, Breckenridge, and Long Trail.

The company has seen so much success that it is currently in the process of expanding operations, through purchasing a new warehouse space in Washington County that will allow the company to consolidate, bring in extra products, and hire new employees.

With its ongoing success, it’s no wonder why Havoc Brew Supply is at the forefront of celebrating FeBREWary in Maryland. The company, which has eight employees, serves not only demographics across the Mid Atlantic and East Coast regions, but also caters to customers all over the world. With a total of 2,900 clients worldwide, 100 of those are international, including craft breweries in Russia, New Zealand, and Belgium.

Havoc Brew Supply produces the additives necessary for beer brewing and has even started its own brand of fruit puree additives, sourcing fruit from all over the world. While the growth and maintenance of hops is exceedingly difficult to master, the company has managed to keep its supply abundant. It sources hops from around the globe, specifically targeting the pacific northwest regions, and importing hops from Germany, the U.K., New Zealand, and Australia.
