This year brought some exciting moments for Maryland. Throughout 2016, the Maryland Department of Commerce continually celebrated companies announcing expansions in Maryland. Commerce also celebrated workforce and job successes, such as statewide growth in manufacturing, and impressive job creation and retention. Day in and day out, Commerce representatives visited businesses of all sizes, helping them solve challenges and celebrate their own successes.
It's been a busy and productive year for business in Maryland, and there are plenty of reasons to celebrate. The video below recounts our favorite moments and highlights of 2016.
