Commerce Regional Representatives

The Maryland Department of Commerce has a regional team that is dedicated to working directly with the economic development offices in Baltimore City and Maryland’s 23 counties to help companies expand their markets, workforce, or physical locations. Regional representatives can provide information about Commerce programs and services, workforce and technical resources, and guidance on other state and federal resources. SCORE - Counselors to America’s Small Business
SCORE is a nonprofit association that matches volunteer business management counselors with small business owners in need of expert advice. SCORE has experts in virtually every area of business management and maintains a national skills roster to help identify the best counselor for a particular client.

You can meet face-to-face with a mentor from your local SCORE chapter or find and email mentor who best suits your individual needs. SCORE offers eight locations in Maryland, as well as online training workshops for small businesses. Find a chapter near you .

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
The U.S. Small Business Administration  and its nationwide network of partners offer resources and programs targeting small businesses to help those companies effectively compete in the marketplace and strengthen the overall U.S. economy.
