Team Commerce is excited to be out and about celebrating dozens of companies and their special milestone anniversaries. We are continuing our outreach to all 24 jurisdictions, making sure that our customers are honored and acknowledged for their hard work and dedication to Maryland's business climate.

One of the largest celebrations so far this year belongs to Charles H. Mullenberg Co., Inc., which celebrated 150 years in business this month. Formed in 1867, the family-owned and operated plumbing and hot water heating company currently resides in Ellicott City. Today, the business is run by Richard Walton, a sixth-generation family member.

Pictured are: Bob Wheatley (family), Bethany Schuetz (family), Richard Walton (Owner – 6th generation), Gina Stewart (Commerce), Jan Walker (Commerce), and Catherine Bedolla (Howard County Economic Development).

Other anniversaries happening around Maryland include Rheb's Candies in Baltimore (100 years), Dick's Autohaus in Queenstown (50 years), and Ridge Engineering in Hampstead (50 years). On behalf of our entire department, thank you all for calling Maryland home. Check out these milestones and a number of other business celebrations in the photos below.

If your business is celebrating a milestone anniversary in 2017, feel free to send us an email with the details. We'd love to come out and visit.
