Giant Food, one of the largest grocery chains in the region, has expanded its headquarters and corporate operations in Prince George’s County and added 70 new jobs.
The company, which has been operating for more than 80 years, expanded its sales and merchandising operations and added 31,000 square feet of existing space at their headquarters building in Landover. Giant currently operates 164 supermarkets in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.
“Giant has been an outstanding corporate partner in Maryland and we are thrilled they are expanding in our state,” said Maryland Commerce Secretary Kelly M. Schulz. “We look forward to working with our partners in Prince George’s County to ensure their continued success in Maryland.”
