The thirdInvestMaryland Challengeclosestomorrowwhen the winners of all$700,000 in prizesare announced by theDepartment of Business and Economic Development(DBED). Theywill include four grand prize winners of $100,000 each, and two dozen other companies that will take home smaller awards from DBED partners.

The Challenge attracted 214 companies from eight states, Washington D.C. and two foreign countries Brazil and Israel. There are12 finalists,three each in the contest's four categories: IT, Defense & Security, Life Sciences, and Sustainability & Exploration.
